Looking cute while working out!

So I just spent my last post poking fun at women who like to be all matchy-matchy and wear pink when they run.  But I do have to admit, I’m a girly-girl at heart, maybe just a stepped down a few notches.  This means I buy pink and I buy accessories that will make me look cute, who wants to look like a slob when running in front of hundreds of people or lifting at the gym with all the dudes!?!

With that being said, I found the cutest headband the other day while I was out shopping for new running shoes (which also have pink in them).  I like to buy my shoes local from small running companies.  My new store in Indianapolis is the Runner’s Forum where they are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.  While I was there, I must have been in the spending mood and also bought a new pair of smartwool socks, some shot blocks, and then I spotted an adorable headband made from a local vendor.  It had a cute design and a soft velvety inside.

But the real test was, would it do its job and stay in place while running.  I tested this hypothesis last weekend when I ran a half-marathon.  Results are in and it’s a WINNER!  There were times when it felt like it was slipping, but when I reached to readjust it, it was still in the same spot I had placed it when I got ready in the morning.

The price is decent $12-15 (tax included) and right now shipping is free!!!  If you’re interested, like them on facebook at Busy Bee Headbands by Tracy or the web at www.busybeeheadbands.com

And remember ladies, let’s keep it cute and sassy one pink accessory at a time!
